Founder

Patrick is an outdoor savant turned product innovation force-multiplier. He is a champion of user-centric experience & design, which shines through the products he's worked on.

His leadership, risk navigation, and problem solving prowess comes from over a decade of experience as a mountain guide, avalanche forecaster, and search & rescue leader.

With a graduate degree from Carnegie Mellon's Integrated Innovation Institute, deep experience in tech at companies like Apple and Watch Duty, and the relentless work ethic of a mountain athlete, Patrick thrives on complex, novel problems that enhance experience at scale.

Gravity exists because of what Patrick witnessed in the field: products built by talented engineers that simply weren't built for the realities of the backcountry. Tools that failed in conditions where they were needed most. Features that led people toward the worst day of their lives instead of their best. Bridging that gap — connecting great product teams to the real people, places, and pressures their technology has to serve — is what Gravity is here to do.
